Sydney - A City Mourns

My heart goes out to the victims, the victim’s families, and to the residents of Sydney.

Their lives will never be the same as a result of yesterday’s horrific incident.

The first thing I saw when I arrived back at my hotel this morning:

The walk towards the crime scene

Sad Day in Sydney

As I write this, 3 hostages that were being held in the Sydney Siege have escaped.

But it is still a sad day in Sydney.

Streets are empty.

Buses are empty.

Stores are empty.

Tbey closed my beloved Royal Botanic Gardens

In all seriousness... hope for a peaceful outcome
